Kirstenbosch and Rhode’s Memorial

Visit South Africa’s most beautiful and important garden. You will learn about fynbos, unique to this part the world. You will discover the amazing diversity that is the Cape floral kingdom, the smallest yet most diverse of all of the world’s floral kingdoms. Themed gardens, such as the fragrance garden, the cycad garden and many more, will fill you with wonder. Some of the history of the garden will also be explained during this wonderful walk. From there, a short drive brings you to Rhode’s Memorial. He was a visionary, Prime Minister, mining magnet and pioneer. Take in the stunning views over Cape Town while enjoying a cup of coffee and a delicious slice of cake.

Cape Town City Tours

Relive the early days of the Cape Colony. Your knowledgeable guide will evoke an era of sailing ships and sea battles - of colonialists and slaves. Visit the colourful Bo-Kaap Cape Malay quarter - the Castle, the oldest existing building in the Cape - the city hall, where Nelson Mandela addressed the world on his release from Robben Island, and more.

Historic and Architectural walking tour

Constantia Winelands

Wine tasting in the cradle of the wine industry in the Cape, the Constantia wine route is highly recommended. From the Grande dames, whose wines have been enjoyed by kings and emperors, to modern and chic, you will experience the wonderful variety that this area has to offer. You will also be given an overview of Cape Dutch architecture, unique to this corner of the world.

Hike up Table Mountain

For the young or young at heart, this is a once in a life-time experience. Choose either the Platteklip gorge route (approx. two hours of steep climbing) or the easier but longer Skeleton gorge (four-five hours) Take in the gorgeous vista, while also taking note of the abundant variety of local flora. There are more species of plants on Table Mountain than in the entire United Kingdom.
